Good afternoon Sandy.
I have managed to access your site and it is a credit to your endeavours, well presented with a wealth of information. All I can say is "Well done" and such a refreshing change to see someone adding to our knowledge of men who fought and died in the Great War and to those who fought and survived.
If I can be of any assistance Sandy in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me, it will be my pleasure.
Best wishes, as always and I will raise a glass this evening to 'your' men. I for one am sure that their voices still echo thanks to your hard work.
Chris.

Your dedication has enabled the memory of these brave men to live on. How dreadfully sad to read
how young they were, forever in their twenties.
All credit to you, Sandy. By creating your website you've just done them proud.

Dear Sandy, Have just had a chance to look at your website with the lovely tribute to "your" Wellingborough men - some of whom I see are truly yours! You have obviously put a lot of effort into this work, and your emotional commitment to the project shines out from both the text and pictures. It was very moving, interesting and fascinating to be able to share in the results of your researches. My father's 20-year old brother and two of my mother's uncles, all from Northampton, were also killed in the Great War. It had an impact on so many. Colin

That's a wonderfully moving website you have created for those five young men who perished. The youngest two, at 19 and 20 (or possibly each a year younger than that if they hadn't reached their next birthdays in the year that they died) look so, so young in their uniforms. What a terrible slaughter it was...

Hi Sandy,
Finally got around to looking at your website and as expected you have done great justice to 5 brave men, 5 of thousands who gave their lives for their country. Best regards, Paul P.S. I wondered what "My Wellingborough Information" might contain and I was surprised to discover what became of my Uncle (by marriage) Walter's older brother, Alfred Robinson, could never work out what happened to him. Recognised the address! So thank you, Paul

I had the great pleasure of meeting Sandy on Remembrance Sunday in Northampton after the crowds had left Wood Hill. I think I commented on her knitted poppy - and now know about the extraordinary and moving story behind it, which is a fine testament both to that great generation and the good which so many still do in our own day.
Well done indeed Sandy.

Hi Sandy ...What a lovely way to honour your ancestors and ensure they will not be forgotten . I have just returned from a pilgrimage to the Western Front where I found visiting the Cemeteries quite overwhelming... I just could not walk past a headstone without feeling I wanted to read and acknowledge every name... and yet there were so many unknown.. I felt compelled to write about them so I penned a poem after my visit to Tyne Cot Cemetery which I hope you like and would be happy if you wanted to use it....

Comment I have found your website really interesting as I have a family connection to one of the five. Sidney Eady is my husband's great uncle, his grandfather Dennis was Sidney's younger brother. I came across Sidney's name while teaching about the trenches two years ago and your site has helped fill in the gaps about what happened to him. We aim to visit his grave this year and tell our children about him. It was good to see a photo of him and I can see a bit of a family resemblance. Thank you.

Hi,
I like the idea of memorialising on website - it's lovely! I have a lot of ancestors from Finedon and Little Harrowden, Moulds and Walldens and am trying to sort them out! I descned from old William Mould who died in 1804 in Finedon aged 90!
Best,
Jan
